What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Dear doctor

My mum has done thenct scan this week and the report show a sentence which "increased density root of small bowel mesentary with nodes? Significane"

In this case, is it lymphoma or lymphodenitis?

It is most likely lymphadenitis.It may indicate infective etiology or it may be a non specific finding also.
It is important to know symptoms and reason for investigation.

It is most likely not a case of lymphoma.There are many other findings in lymphoma like multiple enlarged lymph nodes at various sites,visceral enlargement,typical symptoms etc.These are not in your case,so don't worry.
However,it need clinical correlation.

Your findings indicate gall bladder calculus and multiple simple liver cysts.
Definitive treatment of gall bladder calculus is Cholecystectomy(surgical removal of gall bladder).
Generally simple liver cysts only need follow up scan.Generally it doesn't require any treatment.Treatment is required if there is increase in size of cyst,infection in cyst etc.
