why is my bone different colors? it looks like swiss cheese in one area. I've had the symptoms about a year. I can walk and run fast. It hurts after a lot of walking and I get extreme pains that make it hard to sleep at night. I have had no injury to the area.
Brief Answer:
It can be knee synovitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your symptoms and MRI are sugggestive of knee synovitis with chondromalacia. Colour change of bone can be due to bone edema. But that is not a serous issue. Chondromalacia is cartilage problem and mostly self limiting. You need to take few precautions like avoid sqautting, sitting cross leg. Take cartilage supplements like glucosamine and Dicerin. Start physiotherapy like static quadriceps.
please share your MRI report once you get it.
thanks
