Question: Hi Sir...my wife's recent blood report shows that she has "RBC: Mild anisopoikilocytosis. Predominantly normocytic normochromic with microcytes & ovalocytes". Her haemoglobin level is 11.2, Iron 133.9 and Total Iron Binding Capacity is 467...could there be any other reasons apart from Iron deficiency..for last two months, she develops occassional itching/blisters/lines on her skin which vanishes on its own or after taking cetrizine...pls advice.

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
There is iron deficiency anemia, so iron supplements need to be taken.
But for the skin lesions, it sounds like some kind of allergic reaction.
Complete allergen profile should be done.
When you get the blisters, please upload pics so that I can look at it.
Rest, anti allergic tablets ( cetirizine ) or ointment can be taken.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
