What Does This Semen Analysis Indicate?

Question: Hi doctor..

I have done a semen analysis test for mine and would like to get a feedback and suggestions on it.

I am mentioning the parameters of my result below.

sperm quantity: 2ml

Consistency : Viscid

fructoe : Nil

Sperm Count
MOTILITY

Activety Motility : 70%
Sluggishly Motility : 15%
Non Motility : 15%

MORPHOLIGY : 80% Normal form
20% Abnormal Form

other cells: 2-3 pus cells
0-1 Epith Cells.

As I need this info to let know to become father.

I am and my wife are getting negative pregnancy result from last 6 months.

hope to get a answer at the earliest.

Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.
Your Semen analysis looks normal.You should get a gynecology examination including pelvic examination ultrasound and thyroid function test for your wife to rule out other causes.Do your wife has a normal menstrual cycle?Is it regular?
If it is not then conditions like Polycystic ovary or hypothyroidism are possible.In such case with proper therapy she can get pregnant.
Do have a regular intercourse in fertile period.That is usually starting from 12 to 17 in women who have normal menses like 28 - 30 days duration cycles.Missionary position is considered as a good position for conception also.

Hello doctor.
Thanks a lot for for u r answer.

In my analysis test I would like to get one info about slugglishly motility 15% is it also normal.

And we have consulted a gynecologist for my wife she done a HSG test and its normal.

Please advices us a what could be a cause for not getting pregnant aftet a HSG test is normal and my semen analysis test also a normal.

Thank you for your follow up query.
As you have 80 % normal forms and 70 % active motility you don't need to worry about the sluggish motile 15 %. You semen analysis looks healthy to get a woman pregnant. Get an ultrasound and FSH analysis to find out whether your wife has a normal ovulation. Consult a gynecologist who is specialized in infertility. Hysterosalpingogram is clear means her uterus and tubes are functioning well and with out any pathology like adhesions. So if there is normal ovulation also present then it is possible for your wife to get pregnant. If not drugs like clomiphene citrate will help.
