Question: Hi Dr XXXXXXX

I have made typhoid Test and result are as follow do i have typhoid.
salmonella Typhi O non reactive
salmonella typhi H reactive upto titre 1:40
salmonella Typhi AH Non reactive
salmonella Typhi BH non reactive

Negative widal test.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

I have gone through the attached reports.

1:40 dilution is not considered as clinically significant,you do not have typhoid fever as far as the lab reports are concern.

Your widal test is negative and the test should be co-related with clinical symptoms. Means negative widal test does NOT rule out typhoid fever.
