What Does White Color Seed In Stool Indicate?

Question: I see white color seed like things in my stool. is that normal ? My bowels are erratic and I go upto 4-5 times a day

Thanks Dr. R.K. for the prompt reply. 1. How long have you been seeing these white seed like thing in stool? On and off for about 5-6 months 2. Was stool analysis done? No 3. Are your stools formed/semi solid or watery? Semi 4. Any blood or mucus in stool? Blood - I don't recall. I am not sure how to find mucus. Please suggest how and what to look for. thanks, XXXX

I would advise you the following - 1. Get a stool test done 2. Get tested for celiac disease ( tissue Transglutaminase antibody test) 3. Consult a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy test.
