Hi and welcome. this is procedure used for breast tumor biopsy and this is done with large calibre needle under control of ultrasound.the pain is minimal since local anesthesia is applied on skin before needle is entered. it lasts for several minutes and there is no pain after procedure. results are usually available 5-7 days after. results will show if this is benign or malignant. wish you good health. regards
