Hypertrophied cervix simply means larger thickened cervix which can be seen in cases of chronic cervicitis or erosions.

It is not a disease per se but a manifestation of the disease, be in erosive cervicitis, HPV infections, cervical dysplasia, cervical cancer etc. So the treatment is disease specific and can't be sign specific.
This is a per speculum and a ultrasound finding , but pap smear report is necessary to identify the cause.
