Question : Hi, I am 32 year and my wife is 26Year have 2 years of married life. Still my wife is not able to conceive. We are consulting doctor since 3months and doctor giving treatment of IVO. Is the treatment in right way?

Hello

I understand your concerns about infertility.

You need to undergo 2 basic investigations before going for IUI.

1. HSG- Hysterosalpingography for your wife to check if tubes are open. This is important for egg to enter into uterus from ovary.

2. Semen analysis- for your self. This test detects any problems in your semen.

IUI may not be needed directly without these above tests

Semen analysis is done in any good diagnostic laboratory. You can give sample by mastrubation.

The report will show if there is problem.

You cannot recognise by yourself.
