What Is The Cause And Treatment For Viral Pink Eye?

Question: I have been diagnosed with viral pink eye that ive had about a week now, it seems to be steadily getting better but now it seems to be more crusty when i awake and i have this rash around my forehead and eyes- any suggestions ???

I am so sorry to hear about this viral pink eye. treatment consists in protecting the eyes from sun/dust by wearing protective glasses. Healing is often spontaneous and only a neutral eye solution is necessary for cleansing the eyes. The eyes do not look to have any bacteria infection that would have warranted antibiotic drops.

For now, do nothing more. Continue with the same treatment and wash often. There is no need for any aggressive additional treatment now. I have reviewed the image fully and there are no red flags at this time.

Thanks but i am more concerned, at this point, with the rash around my forehead and eyes- that is something recent - has the pink eyebspread to my skin and is there something i should be pitting on it ???
