Question : hi can you tell me how much maxtra p drops with 125mg/ml be given to a 4 month old baby
Brief Answer:
It depends on weight - please let me know the weight of the baby
Detailed Answer:
Hi....it depends on the current weight of the baby. I request you to get back to me with the weight of the baby.
But maxtra P is a combination medication. I do not suggest using a combination medication with paracetamol.
Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose (maximum ceiling dose of 500mg) every 4-6th hourly that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol.

I have mentioned about her weight being 8 kg.
Brief Answer:
You can give her 0.8 ml
Detailed Answer:
Hi....you can give her 0.8 ml every 4-6th hourly thstvyoo only if temperature us more than 100F.
But I again insist on not using a combination medication. Phenylephrine is known to cause faster heart rates.
Rather than a combination like this, I suggest giving plain crocin drops (100mg/1ml) at the dose of 1.1ml every 4-6th hourly, if temperature is more than 100F.
