Is Febrex Plus Single Tablet Sufficient For Severe Cold?
I have a severe cold. I took a tablet called Febrex Plus. It contains 500mg acetaminophen, 2 mg chlorpheniramine maleate and 10mg phenylephrine hydrochoride. However, I didnt get any relief. Do I need to take 2 tablets at a time? Is the dose of a single tablet sufficient?

Febrex Plus contains acetaminophen or paracetamol, chlorpheniramine maleate and phenylephrine is used to treat fever, cold, ear pain, allergy, hay fever, headache, itchy throat or skin, runny nose, common cold, watery eyes, flu and other conditions. Febrex Plus tablet works by increasing the pain threshold and increases the blood flow across the skin, blocking H1 receptor sites on tissues and constricting the blood vessels resulting in a decrease in the flow of blood thus, relieving nasal congestion.
Improvement of symptoms may be seen 3 days after using this medication. Twice daily dose is usually recommended for this medication. Please consult with your doctor to check how long and how often you need to use Febrex Plus tablet. Don't stop taking this medication abruptly without consulting your doctor.
