What Is The Dosage Of Quetiapine For Depression?

you can increase gradually
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
You are taking four medicines.Seeing these medicines I guess you have resistant or bipolar depression with anxiety features. Quetiepine can be given up to 800-1200 mg depending upon disorder severity and tolerance of the patient.
If you feel better with quetiepine but not 100% , you can increase the dose gradually by adding 25 mg every week.
The most significant drawbacks are sedation and weight gain. If you aware about these side effects and already modified your lifestyle to prevent weight gain, you can go up to 400 mg. And better to take SR preparation to avoid sedation.
Hope I have cleared yout query, I will be happy to help further.
