Question : Hi I am a diabetic 2 my doctor prescribed Topamax 15mg to control my weight not making much difference should I ask him to prescribe a higher dose

Important side effects which need to be considered in your case are abnormal sleepiness, dizziness, slow thinking, diarrhea.

Along with medicines dietary restrictions and regular exercise are important in controlling weight. Importance of both can not be replaced by medicines alone.
