Question : I m prescribed to take ubiphene 50 from 2nd night of my periods 2 times daily for 5 days and all9 tablets. I m 33 years old and husband has teratoospermia. Will this help for iui. Should i go for a donor? I have done icsi and it failed.

Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns about teratospermia.

Following is my reply:

1) If there is teratospermia, it needs to be seen how much is percentage of abnormal sperms?

2) If there are few normal sperms another cycle of ICSI can be tried. Or else half of obtained eggs can be fertilized with your sperms and half of eggs with donor sperms while doing ICSI.

3) If you wish to go for IUI, donor sperms is better option.
