Question : my blood pressure today: 119/87, but my pulse, which is usually in the 70's is 104 today?
I want to add that I don't take med's. I ate a home made spaghetti sauce and it had a bit more Cayenne pepper in than I meant to add. Only had very little salt--less than a teaspoon. Also followed with a bit of dark chocolate and my multi-vitamin, Resveratrol and a Probiotic, and Magnesium Citrate. Could the Cayenne have caused, or the chocolate?

Brief Answer:
Tachycardia is caused by chocolate.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

You have a slightly elevated HR of 104 bpm which most probably is caused by chocolate use. Chocolate has an vasoactive and may cause tachycardia.

Wish you health!
