Question : Hi Doctor, My wife was suffering from Typhoid & we had started the treatment around 20 days back itself .Now she is very much normal. Can she participate in sex now(or) is there any limitation on that?

Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.

I have gone through your query. You can have sex with your partner. Typhoid is spread by fecal oral route. Anal or oral sex should be avoided. You can better use condom for extra protection also.

You can give urine and stool samples of her for testing any chance of carrier state. It should be negative now as she started treatment 20 days back.

It is not strict to use condom. With out that is also fine because typhoid is spread by fecal oral route. But there is risk in oral and anal sex.
