Question : I had a car accident and got a non displaced tibial plateau fracture it's been 6 1/2 weeks since the accident and I have full range of motion in my knee I'm just wondering when I can start full weight bearing

                                    Brief Answer:
You can start weight bearing
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
The answer to your question will depend upon the current X Ray and its comparison to the previous one. If there is no fear of displacement and the union is proper, you can gradually start bearing weight without delay. In fact, early weight bearing promotes the healing process. The following scientific publication will reassure you:

Hope that helped.

                                    Brief Answer:
You can start bearing full weight on your legs
Detailed Answer:
You can start bearing full weight on your legs. I say this in assumption that the fracture has already united and there is no risk of displacement. For a certain answer, the X ray plates need to be consulted.
