Question : i have red hard, extremly itchy bumps on penile shaft. what coild these be and how can i get them to go away?
The cluster near the head is a cyst.

Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and viewed the image.

You seem to have scabies. It presents as it hy bumps, mostly at night, on genitalia, lower abdomen, thigh region. I suggest you to take tab. Ivermectin 12 mg single dose and repeat it after a week. In addition I suggest you to take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg tablet once a day for a few days. Topically you may use a combination of a topical steroid + antibiotic combination e.g fluticasone propionate 0.05% and Mupirocin 2% ointment, twice daily for a few days. These are prescription medications.

Hi.

Instead of ivermectin, You may try Permethrin 5% cream/ lotion or Lindane 1% lotion (gamma benzene hexachloride). It has to be applied all over body, except face, for 8-12 hours. Single application is sufficient. Cetrizine tablet is available over the counter
