1 Month Baby, Crying Hard In Evenings, Not Drinking Milk Even If Hungry. Prescribed Colicaid Drops. Dosage? Is It Safe?

Hi,
This is Kokila from Bangalore. My baby is 1 month old. Usually during evening time he starts crying. It becomes very difficult to handle him. Though he is hungry he refuses to drink milk. His face becomes red, restless, he kicks back. I am told by doctor to give him Colicaid drops. How many times I can give him Colicaid? How safe it is? Also is the drops seductive?

Hi,
This is called Infantile colic and is common in infants up to three months.
this happens usually in the evening and during night time.
You can give this antispasmodic drops, can be given 2-3 times a day.
This is safe and not having any sedative effect.
Ok and take care.
