Your child is suffering from
anicteric hepatitis, associated with PAN. Elevated hepatic enzymes in PAN is common with
Hepatitis B infection. So I would suggest you to consult your doctor to know the Hepatitis B status of your child. Regarding dietary advice avoid saturated fats, meat, hot sauces, spicy foods, fried foods, fatty foods, rich foods, salty foods, cow’s milk and other dairy products, white bread, refined foods, processed foods, meat, ice cream, cola, un-purified water,chocolate, coffee, sugar and sweets etc. You can give him Brown rice, whole wheat bread, steamed green vegetables, fresh vegetable juices,squashes, whole grains,legumes and soups with ginger and mung beans,fish, organic chicken,plenty of fresh water; add juice of half a lemon to a quart of distilled water( to avoid minerals),fresh fruit in season, one to three pieces a day, depending on season and climate. All these measures will protect and decreases burden over the
liver.
