11 Year Old Having Lump On Inner Thigh After Playing Karate. Could This Be Muscle Spasm?

My 11 year old son has a lump on the inner left thigh where the hamstring meets the aductor (sp?)
It is the size of a small marble. It feels like it is within the muscle.
He is active. We just got back from a 1hr & 45 min karate class where they did a little over 30 minutes of stances.
Could this just be a muscle spasm of sorts?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it is a muscle spasm especially if it was not previously noted and with the history of intense exercise.

It should resolve within 24 to 36 hours in most cases.

If it is painful then the use of anti inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen or cataflam would help.

I hope this helps
