14 Month Baby, Swelling In Throat. Giving Crocin, Meftal, Ofloxcin, Swelling Not Reduced. Right Treatment?

Hi, I have a 14 month kid, for the past one week, he is suffering swelling in the right side of throat, just below the ears. doctor adviced to give crocin(5 ml) and meftal-p (3 ml) for every 3 hours alternatively to control the fever. Ofloxcin (3 ml twice) and cetzine(5 ml twice), for the past 1 week, we are following the same, but no improvment. Swelling is not reduced, It is very hard like stone. doctor said that there might be puss inside. Please advice are we going in a right path ?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
It looks like pharyngo tonsillitis more on the right side
There may be pus inside as your doctor suggested
the drug of choice in this case is Amoxycillin+clavulanate
Give antibiotic for a week
Either it will subside or the abscess will pointed out
Then it will be referred to a surgeon
