Avil or Ibuprofen alone will not give you relief from the pain. You need to take some pain killer along with. In fact, pain killer with antispasmodic medicine will help you better.
Such pain is usually for first 14 hours of the menstruation and then it subsides. However, if the pain is putting you off from the routine life, you have to take some pain killer. Meftal spas is a good medicine for this condition.
If even with these medicines you are not relieved from the pain, you may try oral birth control pills for three months. They will relieve you of the pain.
May I tell you one good news baby, the very fact you are getting painful menses proves that you are releasing eggs.
I hope this will help you get relief from the pain. If this also does not help, then you will have to report to Gynaecologist to find out ant underlying organic or functional pathology. However, I feel, you would not be having such pathology.
