2 Year Old Child, No Appetite, Tries To Avoid Food. Due To Worm Infection?

Hi doctor, hope u r doing great. I am from XXXX. My baby is 2 years old.She seems fine. A little concern is even though we try to provide her variety of healthy food, most of the time she tries to avoid to take. It is becoming harder for us. How we can create attraction for food for her or is it symptom of worms inside her as she is not getting proper weight?

Hello sir/madam,
I am highly concerned regarding your complaints of your baby. She is in toddler age group, in which there is lot of curiosity in surroundings and subsequently avoid feeding at proper times that we expect from them. You should concentrate on what to give rather than how much to give . So do not force or attract the child to eat, but feed her when she is hungry or while playing. Worm infestation does not cause above mentioned complaints. It presents as recurrent abdominal pain, perianal itching etc commonly. Thank you
