2 Year Old Having Fever And Throat Infection. Giving Crocin, Ibugesic And Bricanyl. Can I Give Mucolite Or Benadryl Too?

Hi doctor , My Daughter is 2 years and 2 months weighs approx 15 kgs had high fever with bad throat . I have put her on crocin , ibugesic , bricanyl for cough . the fever lasted for around 4 dyas . now she has sever chest congection and is causing troublw to sleep . Which syrup should i give sal mucolite or benadryl cough syrup?

I think you need to give her Antibiotics as well and show the child physically to your pediatrician and he would check for any chest congestion as well for which nebuliser may help. If fever is persisting too, get the blood counts done along with chest X-ray to look for bronchopneumonia.
