2 Year Old With Reddish Blotchy Skin In Chest And Arms. Taking Propanolol, Kepra And Tileptal. Poor Eating Habits. Need Help
my 2 year old son will be three end of may 2013 and has mottled redish blueish blotchy skin that covers his chest arms legs never above the neck line, he has has svt suppera since he was born and is on propranolol three times a day, also on kepra zantac and tileptal two of those are his Seizure meds one reflux, he is delayed and quite the picky eater, and doesnt eat meat, for the last alomost three years i ha ve always wondered what all that ment all over his skin, then i was just readying something that stated that was a sign of death, so im just trying to get answers for my son if you can help that would be great.
Hi The history which you have given and the medications your son is having gives me an impression he is suffering with a heart condition whch is Supra Ventricular Trachycardia and he is having Propananol for that. I also think your son gets epeleptic fits and acid reflux for that reason he is having Kapra, Tiloptal and Zantac. He got reddish blochy skin rash as well. I think that could well be dueto side effect of Kapra. I think you should take your son to Paeditrician for investigations and treatment. Kindest regards Dr. S.K.Mukherjee
