2 Yr Old Born With Hirshsprung, Had Pull Through Surgery. Stools Brown, Sometimes Red. Is It Blood ?
Hi my 2 yr old son was born with hirshsprung disease and had the pull thru surgery and got 6 inches of his intestines removed.. today he had about 5 cups of red hawaiian punch, his stools have been brown and formed like, the past 2 diapers have been red with a little brown and startn to be runny, the last one was more red and kinda looked like puke.. how do i know if this is from the juice or if its blood?

Seems more like it is due to the juice. It is unlikely for your child to suddenly start having blood in stools. But if you still want to confirm you can do two things. Consults your pediatric surgeon. And second get a stool examination done. IN any case i don't think its a cause of concern and i suggest you wait for it to subside.
