Your child is suffering from allergy in the form of asthma and allergic rhinitis. She could also be having enlarged adenoids and tonsils. Is she also overweight? You need to get her thorough medical check up which should include a routine blood count and a chest xray. If you have not already given her a course of antibiotics, pl do so as it will take care of any lingering infection and may be of help. Continue giving her asthma medicines in the form of asthalin and budecort nebulization 2 to 3 times a day or asthalin expectorant 2.5 ml 2 to 3 times a day. A short course of oral steroiuds may help. Take care of her weight.Make her sleep on her side instead or flat on her back or on her tummy. Consult an ENT specialist regarding need and advisability of surgically removing adenoids and tonsils.

If these do not help, we may have to think on the lines of Obustructive Sleep Apnoea(OSA) for which sleep studies have to be done. Sleep studies may be cumbersome in a child. Consult a pulmonologist or your paediatrician who will guide ypou appropriately. If she has OSA she may need positive airway pressure therapy.
