21 Year Old With Knee Pain While Climbing Stairs. Fluid In The Knee Dried Up. Is It Possible At This Age?
Hi I am a 21 year old guy and I have had knee pain when climbing stairs etc for over two months, the doctor I showed my knee this week itself says that the fluid in my knee joint has dried up, maybe because I did not let it recover properly after an injury but as far as I remember I have had no injury in near past affecting my knee. Is this a major bone or joint problem, will it also affect my other joints? Is it normal to have such problems at this age?
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain in your knee is likely to be due to decreased joint lubricants or mild arthritic changes in the joint. You need supplements of joint lubricants like chondroitin sulphate to take care of your symptoms.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
