Hi, my 22 months old toddler had ran fever for the past 3 days hitting high of over 104 degrees. Yesterday he had 3 rounds of diarrhoea , with the one in the evening being the biggest. The first pack had a tinge of green. Under the advise of our PD, we had gave him paracetamol as well as voltaren. This morning, he woke up with a bleeding nose. Can anyone advise what is wrong with him?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

There are various conditions where in dysentery and bleeding are associated. For example hemolytic uremic syndrome has these two things associated. So please contact your doctor for a complete physical examination and further advise.
