22 Weeks Pregnant, Unable To Pass Stools, Severe Constipation, Pain On Sitting. Treatment Options?

im 22 weeks pregnant i went to do a number 2 today but it just seemed to get stuck n wont come out iv taken some tablets that are ment to help to get it out but they dont seem to be doing any thing i cant go for a wee has it hurts to sit on the loo do to the presser i also can not sit down in bed or on a chair as the presser is painful when i try and lay down it makes me feel like i need to go to the toilet but nothing happens other then pain im drinking water but dont no wat else i can do i only feel comfortable when i stand up. thanks

hello,
The symptoms you have mentioned are all common in pregnancy as you take iron tablets which causes constipation as soon as your baby is born it will resolves by itself.
-eat high fiber diet
-drink morewater
-walking may help you for bowel movements
-dont take laxatives without informing your doctor as they may cause cramps and some may interfere with vitamin and mineral absorption.If it prolongs then you need to consult your doctor.Thank you.

thank you for using health care magic,
constipation is common during pregnancy plus you must be taking iron tablets which also helps in pregnancy..rather then taking drugs for constipation change your diet little..take more fibers, more friutd and lots of water.. take 20 mins walk daily..
for symptomatic relief you can go to near by physician to take enema ...
