22 Year Old With Bilateral Pedal Edema, Diffused Abdominal Swelling. Cervical Lymphadenopathy Diagnosed. Proper Diagnosis?
A 22 years old male presented with bilateral pedal oedema, diffuse abdominal swelling for the last 1 month. physic al examination revealed nontender cervical lymphadenopathy, ascites and pitting pedal oedema. cardiac status is normal. cbc is normal. urine analysis shows 1+ albumin, 2-3 RBC. what would be deferential of this case? what is correct diagnosis?

cheers friend,most likely diagnosis in this case would be nephrotic syndrome, renal or hepatic failure. Unless some tropical disease is involved that causes the above symptoms. I would get a liver panel and a creatinine level, and start the patient on diuretics immediately. This patient needs care right away as this can progress very quickly to an urgent state.
