Hello,
Your symptoms are indicative that you are experiencing symptomatic piles (hemorrhoids), possibly with a prolapsed or thrombosed external pile. Swollen veins around the anus or lower rectum are commonly external or prolapsed
internal hemorrhoids. The sensation you are experiencing is because of a protruding vein (which may go back in or stay out).
If it's painful, it could be thrombosed (clotted blood inside). Use a soft cushion or donut pillow to sit. Hemorrhoid creams with
Lidocaine and
Hydrocortisone can help give relief. Warm sitz bath are helpful. Eat high-fiber foods (fruits, vegetables, oats, isabgol / husk). Drink 2–3 liters of water per day. Avoid oily, spicy food. Avoid straining during stool; consider a mild
stool softener if needed.
Get clinically examined by a surgeon or a GP if you experience
severe pain and swelling (thrombosed hemorrhoid), or if it bleeds continuously. Even if you have fever or signs of infection, get clinically evaluated; you may be recommended surgery.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
