2.5 Years Old. Fever, Watery Eyes, Droopy. What Is Happening?

My daughter os 2.5 yrs old. She has had a fever now for 6 days spikes at night. Sometimes her eyes water even when she isnt crying. When her fever elevates her eyes start to het droopie. We took jer to the doc 3 days ago they just said its a virus. I am worried because my wife had pseto tumor cerebri alot of pressure going to head and she needed a vp shunt. Please let me know what thos can possible be.

Hi, yes it can be a viral fever. But if after 1 week fever does not subside,go to the doctor again or further tests and evaluation.
give lot of fluids and juices to keep the child well hydrated.
Drropy eyes may be from weariness from fever.

symptoms of your daughter are mostly viral in nature,but since fever is continuing there are always chances of super added bacterial infection i will advise you to take her again for consultation,meanwhile maintain proper hydration,give her plenty of fluids,if fever rises above 100 yu can give paracetamol.
your daughter will be fine.
