3 Year Kid, Itchy Back, Scratching, Bump Close To Spine, Difficulty In Walking. Had A Fall. Suggestions?

my daughter fell earlier today nothing out of the ordinary she is 3. but she hit her back on the edge of a door on her lower back on her spine. later that day she kept telling me her back is really itchy and kept scratching it i didnt see much but red from her scratching in the same spot that she hurt earlier. well tonight she is waking every couple of hours crying. i felt her back and there is a hard bump in the same spot she hurt herself. very close to spine.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Apply an ice pack at the injured spot and you can give her syrup acetaminophen/paracetamol 5 ml. three times a day for the pain. In case the swelling increases then it shall be advisable to consult your doctor.
