3 Year Kid, Spot On Toe, Color Gets Darker After Pushing, Squeezed Out Brown Puss. Suggestions?

My son is almost three. I noticed three days ago a spot on his toe that looks like a dark mole right against his nail. I touched it and it seemed tender. It is still tender today so I pushed it around with my nail and noticed that the color gets darker when I push it to one side. I got a needle and put a hole in it and squeezed out a brown puss. It doesn't have a bad smell to it and the spot is still dark brown.

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

The description provided by you suggests that your son must have hurt the edge of the nail where some blood must have collected. You have punctured and taken out the fluid. Collected blood should not have a foul smell. In case it is smeling then it should be examined by a healthcare provider to manage it appropriately.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your son an early recovery.

Regards,
