3 Year Old, Having Stomach Pain And Frequent Urination. Is The Cause For Concern?

My daughter 3 and half years old has been having tummy ache and frequenting to toilet for 3 days now... She tells me she goes to toilet twice when at nursery and this afternoon from about 4pm she has been to toilet about 5 times...doing watery, smelly and jelly like poo at one point. Is something I should worry about? She is well in herself....no temperature and eating and drinking ok?

Hi,

The symptoms you describe go for an infection : it may be an infection of the gut- gastroenteritis or urinary infection.

All you have to do is to perform a urine test and fecal leucocyte and parasite test.

After you can contact me again.
