3 Year Old With Back Pain, Tingling In The Feet. Has Horner's Syndrome. Are These Related?

My daughter has had lower back pain for a couple of months that comes and goes. We had a back xray done and all was normal. Now having pain and tingling in her feet. She is only 3 years old. She has Horners Syndrome from birth but they never found the cause. Could this be related? We are taking her to an Osteo Dr. on Thurs. but should we see a neurologist too?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

Pain and tingling in the feet of your daughter needs to be evaluated by a neurologist. It is usually not related to Horner's Syndrome. X-ray of the spine may not always reveal the basic issue for which MRI will be more worthwhile.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Wishing your daughter an early recovery.
