3 Year Old With Vomiting, Fever. What Kind Of Food Can I Give Him?

Hello my 3 year old has been vomiting, no diahereah it started on Wednesday at 5:20 pm approximately once an hour. He was done at 6:08 am on Thursday. He then had a fever of 101.8 at 8:15 am I gave him advil. At 2:15 pm he vomited all apple juice. 3:30 pm temperature 101.8 gave advil. 8:05 pm 100.7 gave advil. Friday May 24th 4:30 am fever 102.3 Gave advil. 12:23 pm throw up all juice. 3:05 pm temperature 100.3 Gave advil. The only thing he has eaten is 1 cracker and some rice chips. He is an extremely picky eater but I am wondering what is the best food I can give him while he is recovering? He is mainly drinking water now. I believe he he isn't fond of juice now because of throwing it up. He will not drink ginger ale.

Dear user,

What he needs is a medicine for vomiting. I have found that a medicine like domperidone or ondansetron will often work wonders for a sick child, stop his vomiting and help him to retain food and other medications. Are you seeing any doctor for his problem? If not, please do, as more than five days have elapsed since he started getting fever. He will need blood tests and perhaps a urine and a X ray of his chest to find out what is causing fever.

The best foods to be given to a sick child are the foods that HE wants ... it doesn't matter what it is ... I have an experience of bringing up my own children, and I found that if I gave her banana, custard. china grass, vermicelli, and vanilla ice cream, she managed to eat these. But if I tried to think like a doctor, I often worried so much I was unable to feed her at all!
