hi, Im a healthy 33yr old with a 3.5yr old daughter, who has had a hystorectomy 1.5yrs ago, due to severe polycystic ovarian syndrome and severe endemetriotismi since having my hystorectomy i have found whenever i cough ,laugh, run or sneeze i urinate quite a bit that not even a pad will help the problem, i have tried the exercises that you are told to do after childbirth but nothing is helping and its getting to the point of embarrassing have you got any suggestions on what i can do.
hi,
according to your history there is possibility of,
stress incontinence: in conditions like increased abdominal pressure urine leaks out involuntarily,
which is also called effort incontinence,
it can occur due to lower estrogen level,
as you undergone hysterectomy which is surgical menopause that may be responsible for your problem,
so you visit your doctor once discuss this and take treatment accordingly.
take care.
