37 Year Old, Early Periods, Black And Thick Blood, Not Having Usual Period Symptoms. Any Ideas?

i am 37 years old and i normally have periods every 26 to 28 days and only last for 2 days. I had a period July 28th and now started August 16..which is way early. But this is not a normal period its black blood and thick. Im not having any cramping like i do usually i have been real moody and such. Usually i know a week before i start cause my breast get sore and i get moody and can tell when i am about to start. But not this time. I had a lady to tell me i could be going through the change. Is it possible at my age?

HARMONAL CHANGES ARE MOSTLY AFTER 45 YEARS AFTER AGE
I HINK YOU MUST INVESTIGATE FOR THYROID PROFILE WHICH IS MOST COMMON CAUSE OF PERIOD DISORDERS IN THIS AGE
THESE CAN ALSO BE AFFECTED BY ANY DRUGS TAKING FOR OTHER PROBLEMS
