4 Month Baby, CT Scan Suggest Surgery For Left Congenital Diaphragm, Not Having Any Symptoms. Is Surgery Required?

Dear Sir, i am father of 4 months boy, after his C.T scan doctor told he is suffering from left Congenital Diaphragm and he is to be operated.
child is normal, no fever, cough, or cold, sleep and feeding is also normal, breathing saturation is 97%.
I am very much worried about this, please suggest me whether operation is necessary or we can do Laproscopi c Surgery.

I a so sorry to learn about this.

The most important thing is getting the problem repaired. The earlier the better because it can prevent organs in the chest from developing normally to attain their full sizes and functions. It may not be a problem now, but doesn't mean it will not be a problem in future if not corrected early. Both procedures (surgery/Laparoscopy) can get it corrected. It is up to you to choose what you can afford, available and you prefer.

I wish your child all the best as you navigate the procedure and options to get this condition repaired.
