4 Month Kid, Urine And Stool Has Smell Of Bacon. Suggestions?

My daughter has a four month old baby girl and has noticed that as of the last two weeks her urine and/or feces smells like bacon. Is there reason for concern? Should she have her checked out immediately or wait for her six month appointment? I am her grandmother and have never experienced this and do not know what to tell her. Thank you.

Thank you for your query.

If your grand-daughter does not have diarrhoea and is gaining weight adequately I will not worry about the smell of the feces. Nevertheless it is better to get the urine examined.
