4 Year Old, Chest Congestion, Shortness Of Breath. Taking Steroids, Antibiotics. Suggestions For A Healthy Life Without Medication?
My son is 4 years old he weights 50 p..he always gets chest congestion , short breath, he cant talk while breathing , he cant run normally like other kids , he always gets congested if he does..doctors always pescribe steriods and antibiotics and nebulizer inhalation all the time..what can I do to help him live healthier and away from medication..and when he gets cold what should I use from a counter a medcine that would help him but not trigger his asthma .... thank you doc

Please follow the advises which i given below, 1. Get a flu shot every year to prevent seasonal influenza. 2. Get vaccinated against pneumococcal pneumonia 3. Wash your hands frequently, especially after blowing your nose, going to the bathroom, diapering, and before eating or preparing foods. 4. Don't smoke near child. Tobacco damages your lung's ability to fight off infection, and passive smokers have been found to be at higher risk of getting lung infections. 5. Give Healthy diet rich in fruits and green leafy vegetables.
