4 Year Son, Tooth Ache, Fever For 2 Weeks, Swollen Glands. Ear Infection?

Hi my 3 nearly 4 yesr old son is complaining of tooth ache. First it was the left side right st the back then the next day the other side. Now it's both. There is nothing abnormal in his mouth. He is running a temperature too. Hes been on and off like this for 2 week nearly but its getting worse. Could it be an esr infection? His glands are s little bit swollen too. Thanks

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

There could be several causes for fever and pain in that area. It could be mumps. Was a MMR vaccination given? It could be a infected carious teeth. Another cause could be ear infection. Is there any discharge from the ear? Only a physical examination can identify the exact cause. Please get your kid examined by a paediatrician.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
