43 Years. Delayed Periods, Menstrual Cramps In Pelvic And Lower Back Area, Sore Breasts. HPT Positive. Diagnosed Cervical Dysplasia. Advice

Hi, i ll be 43 years old next month, as of the past year or 2 my periods usually are a 21 day cycle meaning usually 2 weeks off, 3-7 days on, sometimes heavy sometimes not. i seem to have not had a period for at least 5 weeks, but have been having menstrual-like cramps in my pelvic and lower back area, and soar breasts like it s going to come any second, this has been going on for the last 3 weeks. I took an HPT but the results were inconclusive. Could i be pregnant? Perimenopause? something else? As a side note, i have been diagnosed with cervical dysplasia. Update: I took another HPT and it came out positive.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Since the results of pregnancy test are inconclusive, the chances of pregnancy are there. You should get your serum beta HCG evaluated and get an ultrasound scan done for diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
