5 Year Old With Burning In The Penis. Could It Be An Allergy To Soap?
Hi. My 5 year old is complaining of a burning penis, which gets worse during urination, after his bath. Tonight is the first time this has happened, so I'm hoping that it's just soap, but I'd like to know how to subside the burning, or give him some idea of when it will go away. His penis looks normal, and there is no discharge. Thanks.

A urine examination and urine culture and sensitivity will confirm the diagnosis.
Give him plenty of water to drink and antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor may be used if the diagnosis is confirmed.
