50 Yrs. Continued Periods For 20 Days, Light Red, Pinkish Discharge, Cramps Like Pain In Lower Abdomen. History Of Irregular Periods. Advice

Hi i am 50 years old, had a period on the 23 of October. I noticed yesterday and it is still going on that when i wipe i have a light red/pinkish blood on the toilet paper, I have had pain in the lower abdomen like cramps really bad yesterday and still have them today should i call my Dr.? My periods have been not regular for some time now but worried that i am not bleeding out to need a pad.

A light pink discharge is considered normal when seen at the end of or at the beginning of a period. I would advise you to wait for 2-3 more days, not longer. And if the pain and discharge do not clear, then please do go ahead and call youe doctor.
