52 Years. Cholesterol 218. On Healthy Diet, Regualar Exercise. Any Ideas?
Cholesterol 218. 52 years old. V healthy diet. I'm 108lbs. Lots of salads, veg, rice cakes instead of bread, fruit, yoghurt for dessert. I fast once a week. I drink veg juices. I used to exercise a lot. Now it's down to once or twice a week for 20-30 mins. But I walk everywhere. Do I need to increase my exercise? Not sure why it's not under 200 as it was 10 years ago when my diet was not as clean.
Hi, it appears to be due to the intake of fats, and starch like rice. there is genetic factors as well. The cholesterol can be controlled by pills like statins. So i advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Besides i also advise you to avoid junk foods, and oily foods. Thank you.
